Tracker-X Blackout

Lifetime Warranty

The Tracker-X is a no-nonsense, rough-use fixed blade knife. It's a mid-sized blade length with a wide belly, flat grind and we used Cryo D2 blade steel. We added grippy 'snakeskin' Micarta scales with a thick, ergonomic handle that fits large hands with or without gloves. The Tracker-X comes with a Kydex sheath and a Quick-Clip™ belt loop that can be switched to horizontal carry.

The Tracker-X was designed to be your "everything knife", chopping, bushcraft, survival, wood processing, camping, hunting, field work, food prep...you get the picture.

Blackwash or Stonewash finish? Either way, the Tracker-X will come sharp and ready out of the box. We added some jimping for added grip and a lanyard opening for good measure.

The Tracker-X has 'snake skin' Micarta scales that look cool and are very grippy, designed to stay in your hand in all weather conditions, hot or cold, wet or dry, you'll always have a strong safe grip.

The sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally with the customizable Quick-Clip™, it snaps quickly and easily over your belt or pack, and it's held tightly inside the Kydex.
D2 is considered a “borderline stainless steel” because it contains 11.5 percent chromium. D2 also has a very high carbon content, 1.5%, which lowers corrosion resistance because the carbon “grabs” a lot of D2’s chromium to form chromium carbides. The chromium carbides are good for improving wear resistance, improved wear resistance enhances edge holding.
D2 tool steel is a high carbon steel that is excellent for use in hostile environments and is known for incredible edge retention.
We carefully heat treated this D2 steel to a HRC of 60, this is high quality D2 steel made for hard-use in all conditions. Bottom line, D2 will hold an edge like a champ after tons of hard-use and has high wear and abrasion and corrosion resistant properties, that's what you'll get in the Tracker-X fixed blades.
Perfect for camping, bushcraft, survival, preppers, hunting, fieldwork, wood processing, hiking and all off-grid adventures.
D2 is not hard to sharpen it takes more time than a softer steel, but it's not difficult to put an edge on D2, even in the field with a pocket diamond abrasive sharpener. With all knife steels there's trade offs, with our HRC 60 D2 you'll rarely need to sharpen, but when the time comes, you simply sharpen and reset the D2 for another long run of hard-use cutting.
