The 7.5-inch blade is full-tang, cryo-treated D2 running 5 mm thick: real chopping mass with the edge retention and corrosion resistance to shrug off rain, snow, and heat. The high flat grind keeps it cutting efficiently through wood instead of wedging, and aggressive spine jimping gives your thumb traction for controlled work. The stonewash finish hides the scratches that a working blade is going to earn.
The black G10 scales carry a hexagonal honeycomb texture that locks into your hand even when things get wet, muddy, or sweaty. We 3D-printed and tested multiple handle designs before landing on this one: a contoured, palm-filling shape with rounded edges that cuts hand fatigue during long chopping sessions. At 5.75 inches, there is room for a full grip with gloves on, and a lanyard opening gives you carry and retention options.
