Sandvik 14C28N is a Swedish stainless steel known for toughness, corrosion resistance and an edge that comes back fast on a stone. No exotic sharpening gear needed. The modified drop point is a do-everything shape, with a strong tip and enough belly for everyday cutting. At 3.4 mm thick, the Isoline has enough spine for hard use without carrying like a pry bar. The black titanium coating is stonewashed, so scuffs and wear blend in instead of standing out. Pronounced jimping along the spine gives you control on close, careful cuts.

Most fixed blades in this range show up with one basic sheath. The Isoline shows up with two. The black molded Kydex sheath holds the knife secure and stays low maintenance. It comes with a universal belt clip already attached with two screws and set up for right-hand carry, so it is ready to go out of the box. Left-handed? The sheath has the same mounting holes on both sides, so the clip swaps over for left-hand carry. The clip opens up and latches closed around your belt, so it goes on and off without unthreading anything. It is reinforced polymer, fits belts up to 2 inches wide and has two spacer bars to snug it down on narrower belts. The brown leather sheath is stitched, stamped with the Off-Grid Gear logo and locks the knife in with a retention strap and snap. That is your traditional setup, with the look and feel only leather has. Both come in the box with every knife. Run one, or switch depending on the day.

Pick it up and you get it. The black G10 scales are contoured to fill your hand, with a pronounced finger groove that sets your grip the same way every time. Under the scales, full tang steel runs the length of the handle, held by two fasteners. At 16.7 mm thick, there is real handle to hold on to, which is rare on a knife this size. A large lanyard hole at the back is ready for cord.

An isoline is a line connecting points of equal value. On a topographic map, the contour lines are isolines. Each one traces equal elevation, and together they show you the shape of the land. That is where the name comes from, and it fits. This knife is all about its lines.
