The blade is Swedish Sandvik 12C27 with a black PVD finish. 12C27 is a workhorse steel trusted by knife makers worldwide for its corrosion resistance, easy sharpening, and ability to hold a sharp edge through daily use. The PVD coating adds a hard, wear-resistant layer and a clean dark finish that looks sharp without trying too hard. The drop point comes to a centered tip and the grind is thin, so it is a seriously slicey blade. Against all that black, a gold accent ring around the pivot ties it together with just enough flair to turn heads without going over the top.
The handle is a textured G10 scale on one side and a stainless steel frame lock on the other, so the steel side of the handle is the lock. The slim profile keeps things professional. Generous but light spine jimping gives you control on detail work, and flipper tab jimping gives your finger a solid purchase for a snappy, addicting, fidget-friendly open. A lanyard opening lets you add a lanyard, and a semi deep carry stainless clip keeps the knife low and out of the way. At home in the office, the city, or out in the field.
