WE SUPPORT OURVETERANS & COPSDesigned with an XL body for comfort and control, the Bolt Action Pen is machined from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum and built to be carried every day. The thicker barrel and textured grip improve handling, while imported Schmidt ink from Germany makes every note, signature, and journal entry effortless. The smooth copper bolt action is satisfying to use and easy to run one-handed. Flip the patent-pending S-lock the other way and a tungsten carbide tip locks out, hard enough to break tempered glass in an emergency. With a strong pocket clip modeled after our knives, the Bolt stays secure in your pocket and is always ready when you need it. Lightweight, durable, and reliable, the Bolt Action Pen is ideal for:
The Bolt Action Pen is for anyone who wants one tool in their pocket that writes like a real pen and is built like one of our knives.
Every Bolt Action Pen ships with:
The clean, discreet design of the Bolt Action Pen blends into your everyday carry. It looks like a pen because it is one. With a flick of the copper bolt action switch, the ink tip deploys for quick note-taking, signing documents, or journaling on the move. The mechanism is smooth and reliable, with easy one-handed operation and a comfortable thumb rest for longer writing sessions.
This is what makes the Bolt different from every other pen in your drawer. Slide the patent-pending S-lock up and a tungsten carbide tip locks out on the opposite end, with a machined thumb ledge behind it for leverage. That tip is hard enough to break tempered glass if you ever need to get out of a vehicle in a hurry. Slide the S-lock down and the carbide tip disappears, the ink deploys, and it goes back to being a clean everyday pen. No caps to lose. No threads to unscrew. One motion either way.
The Bolt Action Pen is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, giving it a lightweight but sturdy build that shrugs off pockets, packs, and glove boxes. The body resists corrosion and wear for the long haul. The milled hexagonal grip with textured lines keeps it locked in your hand, wet or dry.
From airports to meetings to trail notes, the Bolt is designed to be easy to carry and always ready. The strong stainless pocket clip, modeled after the ones on our knives, keeps it secure and accessible. The XL body is balanced in hand for quick notes or long writing sessions, and it clips to a pocket, a pack strap, or a notebook without a second thought.
After testing inks from many top companies, Schmidt's German-made easyFLOW 9000 came out on top for smooth flow and consistent performance with minimal smudging. Combined with the copper bolt action, the tungsten carbide tip, and an all-metal body, every component in the Bolt was chosen to last.
The Bolt Action Pen ships in a clean gift box with an extra Schmidt ink cartridge. It is an easy gift for someone who would never carry a knife but wants something solid in their pocket, and it is backed by the same lifetime warranty as everything we make.
