In response to popular demand following the success of the Stinger XL, Off-Grid presents a compact EDC version. Crafted with a three-inch drop point blackwash blade made of 154CM steel. Boasting an HRC of 61, this knife is built for durability and precision cutting. The blade is coated with tumbled black DLC, complemented by a full blackout build. The handle, measuring 4 inches and featuring G10 scales, provides a secure four-finger grip for most hands. Like all Off-Grid knife designs, the Stinger EDC is overbuilt and designed for everyday hard-use. Its full flat grind delivers an exceptionally thin edge, making it our sliciest EDC blade to date and arriving razor sharp out of the box. With super-deep pocket carry and optional left-hand carry, this knife offers both durability and EDC-friendly functionality, making it the perfect choice for those seeking a reliable EDC flipper.
The Stinger EDC blade was intentionally designed to be as slicey as possible. The 3 inch blade has a tumbled DLC blackwash look with 3.5mm thick 154CM blade that comes to a very thin edge. The full flat grind adds to the smooth and easy slicing of whatever you're cutting. There's jimping on the flipper tab and jimping that travels half way up the spine for a surefire flip and a non-slip grip for your thumb and index finger. The 154CM has an HRC of 61 and has incredible edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness, it's also easy to sharpen making it an excellent choice for a tactical knife.
The Stinger EDC handle will fit large, and even extra large hands easily and comfortably. We secured the black G10 scales with non-strip T8 screws and added a filler tab and flush clip screws.
The deployment is snappy, smooth and satisfying with near drop-shut action, the blade is light, a few shakes and it will fall shut. The blade rides on caged ceramic bearings, one flip and you'll be hooked...very fidget friendly.
The pocket clip is deep, this knife will ride low in your pocket but always ready for quick deployment. We made the screws on the clip flush with the handle, easy in and out of the pocket, no snags. Also, after many requests, we added a G10 filler piece on the left carry side to keep the scales flush and smooth.
