The large Grizzly V2 chef knife has been so well received, we wanted to scale down and make a "smaller" size (6 inch blade) when your cooking calls for a medium size blade. We designed the Sierra to have an outdoor, overbuilt feel for your campsite, BBQ or home kitchen. The Sierra has a medium belly, flat grind, with a drop point blade design that is extremely thin behind the edge. The blade is accompanied by a solid and ergonomic G10 handle with a ton of knuckle clearance, and a pinch grip for detailed control. The blade is made with Sandvik 14C28N steel which takes a razors edge, easy to sharpen and has excellent corrosion resistance. The Sierra comes with a Kydex Sheath for safe and easy transport and storage as well as the OG Lo-Pro belt clip. Take your chef skills Off-Grid with the Sierra chef knife!
The Sierra's blade design was made to offer excellent control for all your kitchen cutting needs. We chose the steel company "Sandvik" which is a world leading steel manufacturer in Sweden that makes advanced stainless steels. 14C28N offers a unique balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, durability, and easy sharpening. The 6 inch blade slightly drops to meet a sharp centered tip, this offers excellent piercing when cutting or carving into meats as well as vegetables. Just like our tough fixed blades, we also added jimping on the spine for good measure. The Sierra can handle all the tasks of general cooking, slicing, dicing, chopping and cutting in the kitchen or campsite.
The handle design was built with smooth G10 that will fill your hand with slight palm swell and rounded edges, this grip offers maximum comfort and ease-of-use. We intentionally gave the Sierra plenty of knuckle clearance, perfect for multiple chef cutting styles such as the rock chop, small dice and cross chop. When your cooking calls for detailed chopping, we added a pinch grip design with indentations in the G10 when you choke up.

The Sierra is secured with perfect retention inside the Kydex sheath. Excellent security, no movement, no rattle, your blade is safe, secure and ready for your next camping trip. We added the Off-Grid Lo-Pro belt clip for a low hip carry and a thumb ramp for easy one hand deployment and over-the-belt Velcro & button lock design.
